Need ideas?

I was reading the BBC News last Saturday and found an article on the topic we were discussing in class: Tattoo culture under the spotlight. Here's the link for you to read and in need of ideas you can write a little review using some of the words and taking care of the style.
Here are some quotes to open your appetite:

"It is only now in Western culture that tattoos are becoming an expression of individuality, rather than being about belonging to a community,"

"People understandably tend to be focused on the artwork of the tattoo, but as it is usually an invasive procedure on the skin, people should be aware of potential problems, even if the risk is small."

I hope you take advantage of it and enjoy it!

Mmm...I like tattoos but for the moment I'm not lacking in imagination or wisdom. I expect you to give us ideas for a future when the stress of the course will not let us think of something original, when that happens we will have something on which to base our bloggs.

P.D: Do you think that someone would tattoo a dog?

Hi,

I have to confess that I have a tatoo, and I like them. I know that it's a tendence, insted I made it when I was 18, I'm still like it.
The advice I can give you, is that you have to be very shure, and choose a good tatoo maker, because you'll have to get it for all your life.

After reading the tatoo's article, I was shocked. I'm really old, as you have read, and I before reading it I didn't know much things about that topic. So.. thank you for approaching it to me! Perhaps one day I write a novel whith a main character who has a tattoo in his body!

One other thing, Nuria: when you have time, could you read again the sentences in bold in my blog, please? Because you made some corrections but what I wanted to say was something different, so I've tried to rewrite them and I'd like to know if are they correct now...
Thanks you a lot!

:)

Many times tattoo designs repeat and copy. So where is the originality?

If you want to go farther try scarifications, branding or nullifications!!!

I don’t like tattoos. Tattoos and permanent makeup have been used by most cultures for centuries and recently have become very popular with both men and women. So, it is a tradition we have to respect. Most people who have a tattoo do not think of the problems they can cause. Some of them could be problems as infections, skin reactions or serious allergic reactions.
In spite of that, it’s true that smoking also causes lots of problems. I smoke and I don’t thing about the consequences.
So, If you have a tattoo, BE HAPPY!
